Waterproof LED Headlamp – Princeton Tec Apex

$84.99

This is the bright and versatile Apex LED headlamp, manufactured by Princeton Tec in the USA. A waterproof LED headlamp, Apex is rated for three foot submersion for 30 minutes. Turn on the single regulated Maxbright LED for a powerful spot beam or use its four regulated Ultrabright LEDs for bright flood light. Both LED systems, Maxbright and Ultrabright, have high and low power modes; the Ultrabright LEDs also have a flashing mode. When turned off, the battery power indicator blinks on/off for 24 hours to help you find the headlamp (useful in a dark space), then it stops to conserve power. Proprietary heatsink technology and circuit voltage regulation allow the LEDs to burn brighter and longer. The Apex is compatible with AA–size alkaline, lithium, and rechargeable NiCad and NiMH batteries. Four AA alkaline batteries included.

2 Burn times shown here assume fresh batteries and use at one power setting for duration of test.
3 Alkaline batteries provide higher light output than NiCad or NiMH rechargeable batteries due to their higher voltage.

    • It has four nubs
    • Select high, low, or flash mode
  • Switch B controls the center Maxbright LED.
    • It has a circle
    • Select high or low mode
  • Longer depressions of A or B turn off the respective LED
